The best chuck for your buck, the flat iron steak was voted one of the most flavorful and inexpensive beef cuts by Cook’s Illustrated in 2002.  Flatiron is part of chuck blade roast or top chuck roast. This cut is a relatively new cut and the most tender of all the chuck cuts. We cut into a tasty rib-eye like steak.

This steak has a deep, rich flavor which makes it perfect not only on its own, but also as meat for many dishes.
